These raw shots from one of my earliest shoots feature Stephen Quammie – a graphics designer and actor.
After shooting the planned Trampoline shoot from a Photo Series I was testing and shooting and the street concept, a heavy rain storm caught us by surprise. Tony Tran was doing behind the scenes photography and volunteered to hold the umbrella when I suggested we take advantage of the storm, and to my pleasant surprise, Stephen was down!
I suited up in rain gear and Tony grabbed the largest umbrella we could find to protect the camera during the shoot. Out we went, pouring rain… what fun that was. Stephen was amazing and did not hold back.
Close to the end of the shoot Stephen said “I feel like yelling” (and understandably so, for not only was he in the middle of a rain storm for a photoshoot, he was channeling his acting talents to express the moods we were going for in the shots. “Go a
head” I said – and there it went. Made for a great capture. Enjoy.
